Trial Instance of dynamics customer engagement is not getting created

Almost week ago, I created a trial instance browsing trials.dynamics.com by following below steps that I am following from ages:

  1. Browse https://trials.dynamics.com/
  2. Click on Sales
  3. Click sign up here
  4. No continue signing up
  5. Give email address and click next
  6. Fill out profile details
  7. Verify mobile number
  8. Give domain name
  9. Create admin user and password
  10. Click sign up
Trial was created. But but, it was landed in Power Platform Admin Center.

Problem Statement

I was able to open Dynamics CRM Instance. However, I'd only two apps and was able to view Customer entities only. No Sales, Services and nor Marketing Entities was available in Advanced Find.

Possible Solutions (that didn't work)

--> Install database in Admin Center of Power Platform
--> Install stand alone application (i.e Sales Pro and Marketing)
--> Change Region
--> User different Email and Mobile phone to create Trial instance
--> Clear Browser Cache
--> Try in another browser

Solution
After applying all possible solutions, discussion with colleagues and lot of head scratching, I find the solution :). Below are the steps.
  • After creating trial instance
  • Browse https://trials.dynamics.com/
  • Click on available application sales tiles (i.e Sales)
  • Add work email (that you added in Step 5)
  • Add Phone Number (that you added in Step 7 for verification)
  • Complete the Wizard to create Trial instance
~~Enjoy~~

  1. I can see you have the custom app providing full capabilities. I am not even getting that.

    Any idea why?

    1. I was interested in Sales / Services and Marketing modules. But unfortunately no entity was found related to these modules. Only customer entities were there. So that was the pain point for all these efforts.

  2. hyper personalization in retail
    Banks have a dual challenge today – a demanding customer and a whole new set of competitors. User experiences in e-commerce and other industries with digital offerings are so seamlessly designed that today’s customer sees that as the norm.
